Course information

The Certificate IV in Youth Work qualification prepares students for a rewarding career supporting young people in community settings. This course equips graduates with the skills to develop and deliver programs that address the social, emotional, and developmental needs of youth, with a strong focus on promoting their health and well-being.

Entry Requirements
  • Completion of grades 10-12 or equivalent
  • Demonstrate a satisfactory level of Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) abilities
  • Students must be at least 18 years old at the time of commencement of the course
Course Duration
  • Online learning is completed over 12 months.
  • Study load consists of around 2 units per month over this 12-month period
  • Recommend study per week is between 8 – 12 hours
